Finished Early Autumn by Louis Bromfield, and I would have to say I enjoyed it.
The ending was a little bit of a surprise, but the writing really drew me into the world and following Olivia, Sabine, and Aunt Cassie around.
Having Olivia stay as a part of their world, and her accepting that – I didn’t see it coming. But her daughter escaped, and she found peace in that.
A good read, and I’d love to actually discuss/study it more … which is a way of saying I probably won’t do that in the immediate future 🙂
