It should be noted that Splendor took over our lives for a point in time, around the weekend of January 9, 2016.
Not since Dominion have we sat down and played game after game of something and never get tired of it.
Another similarity Splendor shares with Dominion is that is has three phases: first, I win all the games. Second, she wins all the games. Third, she continues to win all the games in the foreseeable future. Phase four, we take a break.
We’re currently in the “break phase.” 😉

I can completely relate. I entered the UK Splendor nationals in June, and pretty much played it straight for two months prior. I have been on a break for four months now haha.

How you seen/played the expansion “Cities of Splendor”? We’re not there yet but looking forward to it.
I doubt it will improve my lack of winning, but that’s not why I play 😉

I’ve seen it around the web, but I haven’t played it yet. From what I understand it’s four expansions in one, leading to all kinds of different gameplay experiences. It should be good.
Gaming is about the journey, not the destination 🙂 winning or not doesn’t change how good the game is 😁
