Fun fact: the painting above by Andrew Wyeth was part of the inspiration for the novel, and Andrew’s father – N. C. Wyeth – is a man who’s illustrations have graced some of the books of my youth.
I love when things connect like that.
As of this posting Christina’s World is currently on display at the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan.
