Voltron: Legendary Defender came to an end this past year and it’s been a fantastic ride.
The series did the original proud, and in this case that means it was superior in every way and simply one of the best television shows I’ve seen, period.
That said the final season was a disappointment mainly because they tried to do so much. Raising the stakes is alright, but if you’re going to literally fight for all reality your other subplots need to be just as tight so the whole thing adds up to something satisfying and for this final season that did not happen.
Since you read the paragraph before the last one you know that the disappointment this season doesn’t take away from the overall awesomeness, and it still ended with a verdict of “good” for me.
Future me plans on going through the series episode by episode to really dig in; this show is worth it.
